Where do you find turquoise grout?

Project #13: The Guest Bedroom & Bathroom

Once the master bathroom was completed Matt decided to take on a smaller bathroom project which consisted of updating the guest bedroom and bathroom.  This bathroom surprisingly did not contain any purple however it did contain turquoise.  The bathroom had turquoise tile on the vanity and white floor tile with turquoise grout.  I have been to Lowe's and Home Depot many times and I have yet to ever see turquoise grout probably for a reason.  This had to be hand mixed or special ordered.

Before:

The walls of both the bedroom and bathroom were painted with a periwinkle blue and the bathroom vanity contained seahorse and crab themed fixtures.  The bedroom also had a nice globe light fixture in the corner of the room.

Unfortunately there are no construction pictures for this project based on the fact that Matt completed it so quickly.  In the time it took for me to drive to Manhattan, KS for a K-State football game he had finished tiling the entire bathroom.

After:

We were able to simply paint the existing vanity and replace the fixtures.  We also framed out the existing mirror and were able to keep the existing sink.  For the vanity we used travertine tiles and matching porcelain tiles in a brick pattern for the floor.  We painted the walls as well.

For the bedroom we simply painted the walls and replaced the light fixture.
